Description:
Based on the evaluations by foreign evaluators, the Leonardo da Vinci programme council approved Sava's mobility project Sava-Train at its 20th meeting. The Sava-Train project is titled HR Managers Training and Mentors from the field of technical-technology skills in the Sava Group.
In the Sava-Train project, we develop and enhance the competences of our associates who are encouraged to pay attention to sustainable development, innovative approach, »learning organisation« concept. Further, we assure an occupational health and safety level, assure a high level of qualifications in the field of information technology and introduce the most recent environmentally-friendly technology, methods of work, new products and procedures in order to be able to face the coming business challenges.
The Sava-Train mobility project is organised in a form of one-week exchanges of associates with foreign partner organisations – receiving partners. These organisations have been carefully selected as leading providers of knowledge and systems for supporting e-learning, work on the European projects and project management, as well as high-tech technology and devices according to the Best Technology Available principle. Associates who participate in the mobility project are mentors who will use their knowledge in the preparation of innovative and strategically important learning contents from various professional fields.
Mentors cooperate with leading and managerial personnel in various working environments, systematically take care of the development of all employees, at which they derive from the basic values, as well as global and European strategic guidelines. An account of the obtained knowledge, we have mobilised all of our employees and we integrate new proposals into in-company processes.
The project manager is Tatjana Lozar, Director CC HR, Law and Organisation, whereas Agata Trojar, CC EU project acts as a coordinator.
In the period from 1 June 2006 to 31 May 2008 we have carried out 6 mobility exchanges which included 45 associates from the Sava Group.
The results – acquired new expertise, good practice transfer were extraordinary quickly implemented in diverse work processes within the Sava Group – sending organisations. VET Mobility became not only educational tool but also a tool of motivation for performing lifelong learning and support to the ”learning organisation”.
Finally, 8 sending organisations from the Sava Group (project coordinator Sava d.d. and its 7 subsidiaries) exchanged 46 mentors HR and technical-technological expertise with 6 receiving partner organisations from 5 european countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Malta and Germany.
All adjustments were made in due time and were effectively communicated with the national agency Cmepius.
The Sava-Train project enabled a sector development with a mutual cooperation among companies involved in the project. It brought about an invaluable expertise that actually was the result of the response by the partner organisation to the key training-related requirements that had been identified in the Sava Group. In the sense of an intercultural professional expertise in areas covered by the Sava Group (Rubber Manufacturing, Tourism, Real Estate, Other operations, Investment Finance), the project encouraged the promotion of the regional development and through individual exchanges it enhanced the potential of educational centres, particularly in the field of technical-technological and strategic business expertise. By all means, this project drew various European educational systems and on-the-job training nearer.
